About the Club

One of the oldest clubs in the Cotswolds

Chipping Campden Cricket Club is one of the oldest clubs in the Cotswolds. Sitting at the meeting point of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire, Chipping Campden sits in its own valley and the club’s games take it into all three counties when on its travels.

It moved to its current ground in 1972, after the members at the time got together to buy its own ground on a freehold basis. After much hard work and fundraising by the community, the club was able to move forward with its purchase of the ground on Station Road. Once again, a generation later, the club is working hard to raise much-needed funds, this time with the long term aim being to construct a new pavilion for the 2018 season, able to host two senior teams and a vibrant junior scene.

Congratulations to @SamNicholls34 on being selected for the GCL representative side 😃🥳 tinyurl.com/yys57l4n pic.twitter.com/l3DTjqaloi
