Second XI Vs Earlswood Vs:

R Lewis won the toss for a second consecutive week on a windy but bright afternoon and Campden went into bat, opening with A. Parsons and Campden 2nd team debutant S. Bragg. Braggy was bowled for 26 while Parsons went on to score 59 before being run out. Parsons was joined at the crease by G. Felton who went on to score a huge 53 not out, seeing out the overs, while D. Taylor and T. Whitehouse added to the total of 228-3.

Earlswood’s innings got off to a rocky start with the first 3 wickets falling quickly but they recovered well in the middle order and saw out the overs for 92-6. Some impressive bowling figures from both T Hanson 20-2 and Procky 12-3.The rain came down with 5 overs to go but we rattled through the last few and secured a 20 point victory. 2 from 2 for the all new Campden 2s and on to Alvechurch away next Saturday.

Thanks to G Felton for the contributions to this weeks match report!

Lets keep up the winning streak! #CCCC
